On 20 July 2026, eBRAM visited the Guangzhou Lawyers Association (GZLA) to exchange views on the development of cross-border dispute resolution, legal professional collaboration, and future cooperation within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).

Ir Albert Leung FCIArb FHKIArb MHKIoD MHKIE MIET CEng PMP®, Acting Chief Executive Officer, and Ms. Yiwen (Wenny) Huang, FCIArb, Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Secretary General, were warmly received by representatives of the GZLA and the Guangzhou International Commercial Mediation Centre.

During the meeting, the parties engaged in in-depth discussions on the development of cross-boundary dispute resolution in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, professional legal exchanges, and potential areas for future collaboration.

The visit followed the GZLA delegation's visit to eBRAM in June 2026, reaffirming the shared commitment of both organisations to strengthening professional exchanges and fostering closer collaboration between Hong Kong and Guangzhou.

Both parties recognised the growing importance of arbitration, mediation, and Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) in supporting cross-border business operations and risk management. They expressed their commitment to maintaining close cooperation and jointly contributing to the development of a more connected and innovative dispute resolution ecosystem in the Greater Bay Area.

As one of the Hong Kong's LawTech and ODR institution, eBRAM will continue to strengthen collaboration with legal and professional organisations across the Mainland, promoting the wider adoption of arbitration, mediation, and LawTech solutions to support regional economic development and the rule of law.
