Case Team

Legal Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address general enquiries regarding eBRAM’s ODR platform and other services 
  • Register new arbitration/mediation cases for validation 
  • Assist and facilitate the case management process 
  • Facilitate the preparation of internal and external reports related to eBRAM’s products and services 
  • Address queries from the case parties and other stakeholders 
  • Maintain records of eBRAM’s panels of mediator, arbitrator, and APEC neutrals
  • Perform ad hoc tasks, including legal research, document drafting, translation, document proof-reading, online mediation/arbitration support, etc.

Requirements:

  • Case management skills: ability to facilitate the administration of mediation and/or arbitration cases in accordance with the eBRAM rules, policies and procedures. 
  • Proficiency in alternative dispute resolution processes and procedures: knowledge of negotiation, mediation, arbitration processes 
  • Relationship skills: ability to proactively determine client needs to ensure a positive user experience 
  • Technical skills: computer literate and proficiency in the required software programs 
  • Organisation skills: ability to organise, prioritise and manage multiple responsibilities and tasks 
  • Communication skills: strong verbal & written communication skills in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
  • Collaboration: ability to work effectively with team members, act professionally and possess excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Legal knowledge: good understanding of institutional arbitration processes and related legal terminology will be an advantage

Education/Experience:

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree, preferably relating to law 
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) 
  • Well-organised, pro-active, meticulous and be able to work both independently and as part of a team     
  • Proficient with MS Office applications (word and excel)
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Able to work under pressure.

IT Team

System Analyst

Position Background:

eBRAM is committed to attracting new talents to help transform our LawTech systems and operations. We’re now inviting a dedicated individual to join our information technology company to support the legal community in Hong Kong and beyond. As a member of the IT team, the role will participate in developing and maintaining our Deal-making platform, Legal Cloud platform, and flagship Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) systems.

We're looking for an experienced IT talent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web and mobile responsive application platforms.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design, implementation, and operation of the DevOps and Container Platform.
  • Participate in system design, development, deployment, testing, and implementation for new initiatives and functional enhancements on web application systems under DevOps environment.
  • Understand, evaluate, and internalize the latest cloud-native services, solutions, patterns, and related infrastructure and architecture to enable continuous improvement and enhance operational agility.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor/Associate degree or Higher Diploma holders in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or other related disciplines.
  • 3 years of system development and operation experience in React, Next.js, and Laravel with Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, and GitLab CI/CD workflows.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Azure, Linux, Windows Server, Shell Script, Docker Container, and DevOps architecture.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools for system and application performance is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, have a strong sense of responsibility and team spirit.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills in English and Chinese.

eBRAM Internship Programme - Dispute Resolution

eBRAM Case Management team is looking for an intern to start as soon as possible. The internship requires a commitment of at least one month.

 

Tasks include

  • Read and draft documents related to arbitration/mediation cases in English/Chinese
  • Legal research and read legal documents in English or other languages
  • Preparation of conferences
  • Other assignments as requested by the team

Requirements

  • Qualification in international commercial law arbitration, with strong academic credentials and prior work experience
  • Proactive, outgoing, organised, and able to work independently
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
