eBRAM Invited to Participate in Hainan Free Trade Port Legal Week, Jointly Promoting the Construction of Rule of Law and Dispute Resolution

Recently, the Hainan Free Trade Port Legal Week was grandly held in Haikou, attracting numerous domestic and foreign legal elites and industry representatives to gather together.  This Law Week is guided by the "the Belt and Road" Lawyers Alliance, hosted by the Hainan Lawyers Association and the Haikou Representative Office, and co organized by 26 law firms and professional institutions, including Shanghai Jianwei (Haikou) Law Firm and Beijing Jindu (Haikou) Law Firm, aiming to promote the process of the rule of law of Hainan Free Trade Port, improve the level of legal services, and provide a solid legal guarantee for the construction of the free trade port.  During the event, multiple specialized forums and seminars were held, covering various fields such as international trade, investment, arbitration, etc., providing a wide range of communication and cooperation platforms for participants. 

Ms. Wenny Huang, Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Secretary General of eBRAM International Online Dispute Resolution Centre (eBRAM), was invited to attend the event and delivered a keynote speech at the International Commercial Mediation Exchange Conference. She also participated in roundtable discussions and discussed the international commercial mediation system with Mrs. Zhang Wei, Director of Shanghai Economic and Trade Commercial Mediation Center (SCMC), Mr. GAN PING SIEU, founder and managing partner of M/S GAN & ZUL, and Mr. Liao Hui, Chairman of Haikou International Commercial Mediation Center.

In the keynote speech, Ms. Huang introduced the latest developments in international commercial mediation in Hong Kong and shared the experience of One State in online dispute resolution.  During the roundtable discussion session, Ms. Huang and other guests jointly discussed new paths and opportunities for international mediation, as well as new measures taken by Hainan Free Trade Port in commercial mediation legislation and practice. 

In addition, Ms. Huang had in-depth exchanges with several industry experts and representatives to jointly explore the future development trends and cooperation opportunities of arbitration and mediation services.  She stated that eBRAM will actively cooperate with all parties to promote innovation and development in arbitration and mediation services, and fully cooperate with the construction of promoting and maintaining Hong Kong as a regional international dispute resolution hub and the rule of law construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port. 

In the future, eBRAM will maintain close cooperation with all parties of Hainan Free Trade Port to jointly explore new paths and models for the construction of the rule of law.  At the same time, eBRAM will continue to expand its international arbitration and mediation business, providing better and more efficient services to global clients.
