Held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 26 September 2024, the Seminar titled “Hong Kong: The Common Law Gateway for Malaysian Businesses to China and Beyond was co-organised by the Department of Justice of the HKSAR, the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, and the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia.

The seminar aims to strengthen business collaboration in general and in the legal and dispute resolution industry between Hong Kong and Malaysia, to highlight the latest legal and business environment in Hong Kong, and the city’s unique and profound strengths as the gateway to the robust China market and Asian markets, as well as Hong Kong as the international legal and dispute resolution services hub and risk management centre in the Asia-Pacific region.
