eBRAM has officially launched the APEC ODR Platform, the first and only ODR platform locally developed in Hong Kong under the APEC Collaborative Framework for ODR of Cross-Border Business-to-Business Disputes, aiming to serve regional and global businesses, especially micro, small, medium sized enterprises (MSMEs), to resolve cross border business-to-business disputes in a cost-effective way and promote access to justice.
The platform comprises features and advanced technologies such as a highly secure video-conferencing system, legally binding e-Signature services, AI machine translations, a document management system, e-KYC for identity authentication, and bank-grade encryption, to offer meticulous and expeditious ODR services to the parties under the eBRAM APEC Rules. Disputes may be resolved between 4 to 9 weeks by online negotiation, mediation or arbitration. Click here to check out the new eBRAM APEC rules.
