15 and 16 February 2022
The Department of Justice is organising a two-day hybrid seminar on the new developments in cross-boundary matrimonial and family law and mediation.
On the first day of the seminar, co-organised by the Supreme People’s Court, participants will learn the new mechanism for reciprocal recognition and enforcement in matrimonial and family cases between the Courts of the Mainland and the HKSAR.
The DoJ invited prominent speakers from Hong Kong and the Mainland to shed insights on the impact of the Mainland Judgments in Matrimonial and Family Cases (Reciprocal Recognition and Enforcement) Ordinance on cross-boundary matrimonial and family mediations on the second day.
